    I was checking the Intel rapid storage technology software and found this;

    does this mean i have a port for a 3rd INTERNAL hard disk or is it something else (maybe the esata port?)

    I know there is no place to put the third hard disk.

    It's possible it's the esata, not too sure, but if you go into your BIOS setup menu, and look around it should list the actual possible connections there in ur setup. it should say something like
    "SATA 1" -- <disk ID>
    SATA 2 --- <disk ID>
    and if it exists, SATA 3, or something to that matter.

    i had a look in the BIOS, and there was only SATA 1 and 2. so im guessing this is esata port. Thanks for the help
