anyone have or seen a Toshiba with the cool built-in/discrete put together?
I think it has to be AMD based for the chipset I dunno. Nvidia has it own tech
like this coming. the idea is to run on the chipset in 2d and only power up the discrete for games. the chipset can even do HD video on it own so its great idea. most of you probably know what Im talking about, Ive just yet to see it on much out there. I think new macbookpro has it. I notices 305 at BB but I dont think it has the chipset, just the discrete, which kinda defeats the purpose. I hope Im wrong...but it kinda makes all these 'transitioin' notebooks...I know you call all notebooks that, but this tech is a REAL battery saver, (noise, heat etc too).

No... I don't think there's a toshiba laptop with that technology yet...might take some time though...as it's not common yet

well looks like this has it.. http://crave.cnet.co.uk/laptops/0,39029450,49299754,00.htm .. if this thing wasnt such eyesore
and had just one card priced 1-1.3 k I would buy it now. I like HK speakers on
alot of the toshibas. I just got a gateway p-7811fx, its has great card but no
integrated, and the speakers suk for a 17". but I got it clearance new for $1015. such a deal! seriously these red Qosmio's are ugly. funny becuase the black/grey 305's with just the two HK speakers are great looking. go figure. -
ok I think the A305D-S6886 does, any others?
