This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    A10-S167 USB PCMCIA no longer works

    PCMCIA and USB slots are not working correctly. Anything plugged into them is shown, but never installed. I've completely re installed Windblows and it's the same so it's not a software issue. The one thing I knew for sure is where the USB port 5 vdc is and that voltage is OK. Anyone know what it could be that would relate to both PCMCIA and USB?
