A few things could be happening:
1) CPU is overheating and throttling down speed to keep from frying
2) CPU is maxing out
3) No GPU driver installed
Download HWMonitor to check your temps, open up task manager (ctrl+alt+del or crtl+shift+esc) and try to view video again. Let us know if your CPU usage is at 100% or HWMonitor says temps for your CPU are high (>70C). If that doesn't do it, your laptop probably doesn't have any GPU driver other than the default Windows one. Based on an assumption, you have an Intel integrated graphics card so open up My Computer and go to Properties, there should be a Device Manager option under one of the tabs, open that up. Then in the list, it should say something like Display Adapters, under there should be your specific GPU model. Then go to Intel's website (assuming it's an Intel GPU) and download the driver for that GPU. (If you can't get this just let us/me know the name of your GPU and I/we'll find the driver for you.)
EDIT: could also be that something else went wrong when they changed the hard drive; though this seems unlikely. -
Hey mate i have the graphics installed for the GeForce 7300 laptop series one ... so im pretty sure that isnt it ..
I will try HWMonitor and get back to you -
the temps of the CPU were around 71C when i had 4 you tube videos open at once.
And also the ACPI was around the 68-71 area.
BUt the videos wernt lagging like before -
I was reading my repairs notes it says replaced HHD.
Also has Thermal Compound on there? Whats that ? -
installing a program now tempratures at 77-79 max

i think my grfx card is nvidia 7300 Go

I think I found out the problem I dont think the fan on my laptop is running.
Maybe they havent plugged it in or its just broken, should i take a look inside or just take it back in? -
If you're still under warranty, definitely bring it in, otherwise, check to see if you can find a disassembly guide to CAREFULLY take your laptop apart to see if something is loose.

I've undervolted my laptop so I have RMClock running, and in the tray it shows the current CPU temp. That plus I've gotten pretty in tune with my laptop to know when somethings wrong. Since my laptop doesn't ever really get too hot I haven't bothered with getting a cooler.
