hey guys, My toshiba laptop is hitting above 80 degrees celcius when playing games like Crysis/NFS Carbon/Etc.

And I was wonder wtf is wrong with my laptop?

And look at this pic, Power Options is set to "Balanced".

    No games running.

    See my attached image.

74C? are you kidding me ?

My keyboard feels kinda hot actually.

I don't know what I have done but after I installed Notebook Hardware Control, and sets the multiplier and voltage to 6x and 0.xxxxx, my laptop's temperature got high, and I don't know if its just the temp meter of my laptop or it's the real thing.

    Any suggestions ?
Is there anyway to set the voltage and the multiplier to its default values?
I have tried unchecking on the NHC, and I have uninstalled it.

    Thanks in advanced.

The 70C hot spots are the T junction (have no idea what that means, have just heard it's the hottest part of the chip) the only temps you need to worry about are the core's and those are at a safe 45C. You should also look at cleaning out the fan/vents if it hits 80C on the cores when doing anything.

I see, and 1 more thing, the fan of my video card seems to be slow.

When playing Crysis, I can't seem to feel a strong blow of air coming from it. :(

If its your cpu hitting 80+, try undervolting.
My other lappy was like that when running something like wprime, and after i undervolted it, the max temp was less than 60.

My CPU cores hit an 80 earlier, and I was only playing Warcraft III, w/ high performance on the battery.

How did you undervolt it ?

    NHC ?

What multiplier/voltage would be good ?

    thanks.

leave the multipliers alone :) Under volt each one by about 0.200V :) more if you like...but too low will lead to instability.
