Hello to all, i have been reading the forums for a long time but this is the first time i really need some help.

As the titles says, i have an old toshiba A100-906 laptop.
As from today whenever i press the power button the computers starts normally, the hdd work properly, the screen lights up but it doesnt show anything. I connected the laptop with an external monitor and it works fine, it boots normally. When i tried to change the brightness of the screen through windows, i could see the brightness of the screen changing but the screen remained blank.
I have tried several tricks that i have read on the internet, like pressing the power button for 60 seconds etc etc but nothing has worked so far...
    Any suggestions ?

    thanks in advance :)

Get a new screen. It's about $60 on ebay.

Also try re-seating the screen cable.
