Hey guys I have a laptop A105-S4084 where the screen keeps showing gray, green lines and chopped up images whenever it is powered on. If some pressure is applied to the edges at any time, the screen stabilizes and displays a normal image. Once the pressure is removed, it goes back to hell.

I have read on one site that the guy had to replace the LCD to make it work. I was hoping it was the FL inverter but the more I read the more i doubt it is.

I will try and remove and reattach all monitor cables one more time and hope it works, but I have a good notion that the screen is bad. It is possible, even with external monitors working that the motherboard can be bad.

Does anyone know where I can buy a A105 series laptop that is broken for parts? Or a way to verify it is the screen before I spend 160 on ebay for a screen? (seems like a good deal assuming it is the screen)

Any possibility that the inverter is bad? I could start by buying that off ebay, then moving to buy a screen. Its the girlfriend's computer so I cant purchase a screen and inverter just to find out its a bad board.

Thanks if advance for any help
