Have a Toshiba A105, won't boot normally only goes to safe mode option screen. When you select any one of the safe mode options it boots right back to the safe mode screen. Attempted to reload window XP media edition from the restore disk. But I need to save the persons information on the drive before I can restore it and the CD does not give me the option to just reload Windows. It will only reformat the drive and restore it.
    Any Idea would be appreciated.

the only thing you can do is to put the hdd in a usb enclouser and transfer all of the files off or to directly hook up the hdd to another computer via a 2.5 to 3.5inch hdd adapter.

If you have a windows install disk you can try repairing the OS (not the toshiba disk as it just has an image of the OS), but its unlikely that it will work.
