I have an A105-S101 notebook that was purchased back in January from BestBuy .
Recently I have been getting a "network cable unplugged" message on
the wired Ethernet adapter. The wireless works fine. This notebook
has the Toshiba ConfigFree software installed so I'm wondering if this
could be causing a problem. I've tried deleting the wired Ethernet adapter
in Device Manager and letting XP reinstall the driver but I still get the same
error. I've tried several known good cables, different ports in the router
which function fine on other systems, etc.
I'm starting to think that my wired Ethernet adapter hardware may
be bad. Has anyone else experienced this ? I was thinking of uninstalling ConfigFree to see if this is somehow interfering with the adapter, but I really like the functions it performs, auto switching wired/wireless. Don't want to go through the hassles of trying to reinstall it from the restore disk. Any advice
    would be appreciated. Thanks.

just disable your wired connection, thats what i do on al my pc's since they all use wireless.
