Hi,
I very recently bought an M70-SR6 and can still return it. Now, I noticed the A105-S361 advertised at BestBuy.com for 1349,99 USD which is about 170 USD cheaper.
Main differences are:
A105-S361
* 120 GB SATA (5400 rpm)
* Intel Centrino 760 (2.0 GHz)
* Intel GMA 900 128MB
M70-SR6
* 100 GB SATA (5400 rpm)
* Intel Centrino 750 (1.86 GHz)
* ATI MOBILITY RADEON X700 with 256MB DDR shared
I am not a gamer but do video encoding on the machines.
Also, I figured that the display of the M70 models appear a bit dull compared to my desktop LCD. I never noticed that difference with my old laptop which recently died.
Are the displays of the 2006 models any better?
Thanks in advance for your opinions![]()

You won't really notice any screen difference between those out now and those that were out a year ago. I suggest staying with the M70 - the X700 will be able to run the next generation of OSes by MS slated to come out in August of this year. If you downgrade, you won't be able to run the new OSes, however, if you feel that you don't need the Vista update, then by all means go ahead and switch out the notebooks.
