I plan on replacing my 120 sata hd with a Seagate 160 (Momentus 7200.2) My question is has anyone done this? How does the HD come out? Does it just slide out? It seems encased in a rubber boot. Does the rubber boot come off and go one the new drive? Thanks for any info.

I don't think the rubber boot comes off.
It the cushion to the harddrive.
No harm in trying if its not glued
