I just completed reinstalling my OS (WinXP) and basic applications, using the restoration CDs that came with this Toshiba A105-S4364, which I've had for two months now. One of the problems that I was hoping this would fix is that IE hangs up, freezes, stops -- all the time. It happens with all different pages (URLs). The only thing that seems to temporarily fix it is for me to right click on it down on the Task Bar, and sometimes to also click in whatever else is open, then click back on the page, repeat all sorts of configurations of this. Then it can freeze up a minute later!
Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do to fix it? It's making me a little bit crazy!
I've had lots of computer over the years, and have never had this problem.
Any/all suggestions most appreciated.
Update (many months later): I don't remember now what I did to fix it, but everything is working fine now. Thanks to all who read and responded to my plea for help.

I don't know much to tell you about the problem except that my buddy is having the same problem with ie7 on Vista on the T2060. He is actually forced to cold boot most times that this happens. It doesn't appear to be a heat related issue because 1) it's limited to just ie and 2) there are no signs of extreme heat (additional fans, etc.) Hopefully you'll find an answer. Try to see if it freezes using an alternative browser too.... Good luck!
