Hi all - new first time Toshiba laptop owner here.

What is on the small 251Mb (type 88) partition stuck at the end of the the 160Gb disk that came with the A105-S4384?

I would assume some type or recovery thing, but I can't find mention of it's contents, access or use in the minimal docs that were shipped with the laptop. A DVD came with the computer, and I figure that's a full system recovey item, but I haven't opened it yet. That 251Mb extra partition on the HDD isn't going to hold much (certainly no system images).

The first thing I like to do to a new computer is repartition the disk to my liking, and I've always just blow away Dell's hidden partition as useless ... but I thought I'd ask what Toshiba does with these things before nuking it.

Nevermind. A bit more research and I found that this is the "Express Media Player" partition. I backed it up. I'll decide later if I want to nuke it.
