    Hi all,

I have a toshiba satellite A135 S4527, bought last year.
The front headphone socket started giving probs a couple of weeks back.
Mono is working fine but stereo has a loose connection problem.
Anyone know how to get rid of this problem ?

    Thanks,
    Kat

Unfortunately this requires a replacement socket to be soldered in the place of the defective one on the motherboard. I had mine break on me on my X205-Sli3 a while back...fortunately the replacement one isn't expensive to fix which most likely be available at most authorized toshiba repair shops and you won't be able to find a replacement anywhere yourself unless you find another laptop like yours, buy it and scour it for parts. However if your machine is still under warranty, I would suggest that first.
