    Hey All,

I am a new owner of the Toshiba A135-S4427, I am coming from an Acer Aspire 3003WLCi, which has an awesome keyboard layout.

This Toshiba has possibly the WORST keyboard layout of any laptop i've ever used. I guess Toshiba Decided they could rearrange the keyboard however they like. (Really, Who puts the Windows keys in the top right corner, and the Insert and Delete keys by the spacebar?)

My question is Is there any way to increase/decrease the volume via a keyboard short cut? On my old Acer, You could press Fn + up Arrow, or Fn + down Arrow to increase/decrease volume.

I have yet to fine any keyboard keystrokes that will do this, and having to do it via the speaker icon in the windows taksbar is just annoying.

    Thanks for the input.

So does my S2247, But that volume knob only works to controll volume in the headphone jack, not the system volume...

    Your Right.

It does controll the system Volume, there's just no visulation for it. I am use to most laptops have a Visulation that displays on the screen with a volume bar (Like your TV).

But I started an MP3 and the volume controll on the front does indeed controll the system volume!

    Thanks for the input/help!!
