Hello guys!!!!!! This is my firs post on the forum and i am very happy to do part of this. I alread send a question to the forum, but here in the Toshiba Notebooks Forums maybe would be more easy to all that have a A135-S2266 or similar now how to resolve this problem.
"I received a Toshiba Satellite A135-S2266 from USA with windows vista, but don´t like due to the english menus, so i remove the vista and put the windows XP with no problems. So a week later, i was use the notebook and the system freezes. I try to use ctrl+alt+del to restart but not works. So i hold dowm the power key and the system restart with the blue screen of the Bios setup asking for a password that i never have created....! The password creates itself! And for to worst i only can try the password tree times and the system shutdown.
The only thing that i now is that the Bios is a "Phoenix Bios".
If anybody now wath is this ou now wath is the password please contact to me!!!!!!!
Sorry for my poor english...............

Try just hitting enter when it asks for the password.

If i do this, the sistem will shutdown at third time i hit enter, even the password box leaving in blank.

Googled ("phoenix bios" + rest) first three results pointed to...

Worst case scenario open the laptop and pull the cmos battery for a few minutes, place it back and your done. Don't forget to set your system time.

Well............ After shearshing in many forums in the web for the supost password e guive up to try and decide to disassenbly no notebook to the second and the last time. After 2 hours and many screws broken it was possible to see the small Cmos battery soldered in the motherboard instead of incased (if this is word), so, almost breaking the chasis of the notebook and using a papper CD cover like heat insulator i desolded only one leg of the battery and turn on the sistem and FINALLY the sistem restart in the Bios screen. The right way to disassembly the A135 and the password probably i never will know, and i am praying that this never happen again.
Thank to all for the tips!!!!!!!!!!!!
