Hope someone can help. Toshiba and Best buy say it has to replace the whole laptop...I hope not. My clock in the tray on the lower right side loses about 2-4 minutes each day. I have reset the time using internet oprions but it continues to lose time. As I said above, BB and Toshiba recommend replacing the complete laptop.I cant hardly believe that is the solution. I absolutely love this laptop, but this is very annoying problem. It is under warranty and I have time yet, but as most people that tweek their laptops, I dont want to have to do that again. Why is my clock keep losing time and what can be done?
    Thanks!!

It could be your CMOS battery. But that shouldn't be going bad on a brand new laptop either. Maybe somebody else can jump on this thread and help you, because that's the only thing I can think of at the moment.
