I've got my laptop for almost a year.
In the last months my battery is having problems.
When it's fully charged, the windows vista battery indicator drops from 100% to 98% and then to 97%, in no time. Then it stays there for 10-15min and it suddenly drops to 7% and I have to plug it in again.
When I'm charging it, it goes from 7% to 8% and then in a half an hour or less, it goes back to 100%, but the indicator does not have animation, it's static.
I've tried some battery monitor software but it didn't showed anything wrong.
Is my battery dead?
Is there any way to fix it?

I would guess your battery is worn out. I too have the 4467 for almost a year now, I gave it to my daughter when I got my VAIO, but it's still going strong.
Li-Ion's can't be reconditioned with a normal charger, they requires a special charger/discharger to do that, and even then it's no guarantee to recover the battery. You're probably better off just replacing the battery. -
Try running your battery down like all the way if you have already done so like to 1% or something and then recharge it

That always happens, it happens when you use the battery while charging the pc(using it) that damage the battery, why? idk, but most of my friends have that issue it happens with all laptops, and nothing to do with it you'll have to replace it.
The precautions you most take so this doesnt happen again: you have to charge the battery while the pc is off and the battery full done, and when you use the pc with the plug in dont use the battery.
Hope that helps.
