I am looking for a replacement screen for this laptop and was wondering if the A135 series with the 15.4" screens are all compatible and interchangeable? Are the connectors the same? Or do I really have to get the exact screen for this model.

    Thanks!

They are interchangeable as long as the cable as been made for that resolution. For example, my previous laptop cable could only be used on wxga panel, trying something higher resulted in a blank screen... My current laptop lcd cable support up to wuxga resolutions, even tough the laptop came with a wsxga+ panel but I had no problem when I installed a wuxga one ^^... To stay safe order a panel with the same native resolution as the one you currently have, all 15.4" panels have the same physical size but you may have to transfer the brackets from the old panel to the new one.
