Well I thought it was the hard drive. Replaced it with another used one. Ran it for approx 18 hours and no problems. Turned it on after 2 days of being turned off and nothing.

    Here is what I get.
    • Power light comes on,
    • HDD light flickers once.
    • You hear the fan running for approx 3-5 seconds.
    • No other functions.
    • Screen is black, nothing ever comes on the screen
    • Battery charged and powercable working fine.
    Any suggestions?
Next process is to test hard drive in a project box to see if it spins.
The orig/old hard drive was totally dead, wouldn't even turn.

Yep, did that. Also pulled the Hard Drive back out. Reinstalled ensuring it was "plugged" in correctly.

I even took out the memory, has 2 sticks. Installed one, tried to boot, nothing, installed the other, reboot, nothing.

    It's like it's dead.

Power light is the only thing that is on. I mean I don't have any power to even open the cd/dvd door.

I'll know more when I pull the drive tomorrow and hook it up to my external box and see if it spins. Heck this used drive may be bad as well. Just trying a quick fix first before purchasing an expensive one.
