    A200 Noise

    There is a constant noise that sounds a bit like either a slow fan bloeing or a CD in the drive (when its just playing but not spinning fast) from the hard drive / CD area.

    Its always on and is additional to the processor cooling fan which is temperature controlled and turns on and off when required.

    Any ideas what this is and whether this is normal?

    It depends how quiet the noise you're talking about is. There is a very faint noise from the HDD spinning, but that's only noticable at all when all the fans are off and no noise from the speakers.
