My Satellite is about 2 months old. It replaced my old Satellite, which was 3 years old and a SOLID workhorse machine. Aside from Vista (grrr...), the only problem I have with this machine is that the screen occasionally flicks - just once. It's almost like the machine itself is refreshing.

I've checked the Toshiba site for updates and such, but the flick is still there. Any suggestions?

When is this "flicking" happening? Sometimes Video cards to this when first booting up into the OS, I know my ATI card does it. Would you say this is random or happens when you do something?

It doesn't seem to happen at any particular time, or when using a particular program. It was *really* irritating a couple of nights ago while I was using Photoshop and Illustrator. But those aren't the only programs I happen to be using when it does this.

Is that any type of clue?
