Just wanted to see if this was normal behavior prior to taking back to store. Its a low pitch sound “similar when a mosquito is buzzing in your ear”, goes away when cpu/hd spins up to open a application, etc and then comes right back. I have turned off the speakers, and disabled the Wi Fi card, and the sound is still there? I only notice this when being in a completely quiet room.

    Thanks

Could be a noisy fan bearing, which could be normal, or it could be a sign of a faulty fan.

I was hoping to find someone that has the same model, and could say Yes or No to hearing the sound, prior to me taking it apart or back to the store.

    Thanks
