    Hi,
I bought this around a month ago and today the screen clips broke. I've got 2 questions:

    1) Will warranty cover it?
    2) If it won't, and I do it myself, how much will the part be either from Toshiba or eBay or elsewhere - any suggestions on where to get it?

    Thanks,
    Peter

Manufacturer defects are covered by warranty for one year. Give Toshiba customer service a call and have them fix it.

Hi. How about getting a part number for this latch assembly or a complete parts-breakdown for this unit? When I was a field tech years ago I accessed Toshiba's TOSHFAX service where we could get a complete list and breakdown of any notebook model we needed, but that service has long since expired and getting the part number would be a big help. Thank you.

You should call Toshiba and take it to a service center it should be covered under warranty.
