I'm considering the A215-S5822 and I read on CNET.com that the battery on the 215 they reviewed didn't even make it through a DVD movie, is this common, or did they get a lemon?

Also, I saw some issues about the screen, and it seems a driver update may fix it, but is this still an issue, if not, what is the fix?

    thanks alot.

If you have the brightness all the way up, you would probably expected about 2hrs +/- a few minutes. Less time if you watch movie from DVD.
