    A215-S4697 Audio Help!

    I down-graded my Toshiba Satellite A215-S4697 from Vista to XP SP3.
    I got all my drivers to work except:
    PCI Device(Which I don't think matters)
    Sound

    I've tried almost everything for my sound to work and no go.
    And what Realtek Sound Serial would it be? Ive tried WDM-177, 178, 202.
    Someone help please.

    First, try unistall kb888111 (add/remove programs - show updates)

    Next, try in appropriate order:
    1.chip driver
    2.res
    3.install kb888111
    4.res
    5.device manager - uninstall device (yellow circle and black exclamation)
    6. OS should search your sound card
    7. give him sound driver

    Chip driver? what do you mean?
    And what is OS?
    Give him sound driver?

    Ok I think I got the right version but when I try to install it says
    "Please install Microsoft Bus before installed Realtek !"
    Please help
