I am downgrading a Satelite A215-S7413 from Vista to XP Pro SP2, and I'm having absolute HELL with one of the drivers. The RealTek LAN Driver, not the wireless driver, but the other one, will not install, no matter what I try. I have found probably 50 different drivers for that card, for that OS, etc that are supposed to work, and none of them do. Has anyone else had this problem? Or would anyone have any advise on how to fix it?
I'm fairly computer savvy, so don't spare the details. lol

Hey WetWired, I'm a newbie too. I found a utility call Driver Magician and ran it on a Toshiba Satellite A215-S4697. I am downgrading this Laptop from Vista to Xp for a friend of mine. I haven't checked the driver list yet, nor started to install the Xp-OS. I don't want to blow out the OS yet, because of loading the Xp-OS to a SATA drive. If you think any of these drivers will help, send me an email.

Install your modem driver first then install the lan driver thats the only way it would install for me. I own a A215-S7462 and I went from vista to xp home sp2.

My model had the xp drivers right on the CD's that came with it. The only thing I had to do was download 3 chipset installs from intel to get to the point of lan and modem driver installation.
What I did...
