I was wondering what kind of battery time you people get on your A300/A300D/A305D.
Please state your processor and gpu and 1/2 lcd brightness if you can, or what ever times you have and what you were doing

    2:00 hours
    T5750 2.0
    ATI HD 3470 256DDR2
    1/2 brightness
    msn, web, music

well mate, toshiba pretty much sucks at battery life.
    sad since i myself have a A200

    2:00 hours
    T7100 1.8
    ATI HD2600 256DDR2
    1/2 Brightness - Balanced mode
wifi on and light browsing and IM

and btw i was wondering.. how much does a 9cell battery cost from toshiba because i can't seem to find them anywhere on the site

1:40 hours on power save mode, less on balanced
    ATI 3650 (I think)
Intel T8600 2.4 ghz (I think - sorry - bought 6 months ago and can't remember all the specs)
    50% LCD
    Wifi, light applications

The 9 cell battery is $139.99 on NewEgg. I haven't bought it though. I don't like the way it sticks out from under the machine. But battery life on the A300 sucks.

does downgrading from vista to xp extend the battery life since vista requirements are much more than xp ??
