    Booooooo!

Needed a few drivers for me Satellite Pro A300 so hit the Toshiba website.

Before taking what I needed, I thought I'd update the firmware as it was up the top of the list. Ran program, was told not to switch off the laptop, and the progress bar was ticking away, all 'seemed' ok.

I left the room for 5 mins, and upon return my laptop was at the black screen asking me if I wanted to boot safe mode etc.

Whatever I opt for, I get a blue screen once the thing starts to boot.

If I try to install Windows, It starts and runs, but once it looks for a drive to write to it blue screens.

Certain DOS bootdisks tell me I don't have a HDD installed, but when I enter BIOS it tells me I have!

    Any help MUCH appreciated.

    What OS are you running?

Do you have any of the original install CDS?
