This laptop will NOT run Wolfenstein Enemy Territory. I know it has plenty of RAM and CPU. [V]
I have been running ET on my desktop for 1.5 years or so, I am familiar with the game and setup.
Here is what happens, software is loaded, I launch ET. Splash screen comes up, sound is working. I hit a key then it goes to Enter Profile where you enter your alias and basic stuff to get started. I can't do ANYTHING on this screen. After I hit a key to get past the Splash screen, I can't use the touchpad (or USB trackball), the keyboard doesn't seem to do anything either. [V]
The only way to get out of it is to unplug the Power cord and remove the battery.
I have gone through Device manager and updated every driver I could fine. I have no other problems with the laptop.
Thanks in advance!

Well it is probably your graphics-chipset. See some games require a certain chipset to run sucessfully make sure that the game doesn't require a dedicated chipset. Unless of course your laptop has a dedicated graphics processor.
Windows - The operating system that runs the world.
Toshiba - Quality, price, and features! -
It has a dedicated Chip, Intel, but shared RAM.
Not sure if the game needs it or not.
Thanks,
Sam
