Has anyone installed this new driver on their laptop?

If you are running Vista 64 the drivers are here.

I have the A305-S6898 and the drivers(9.8) are not working, the 9.7 beta version is working properly though.

I didn't try the mod tool with this version(yet), I used the mod tool with previous versions of Catalysts.

when i used the mod tool and installed the ATI drivers, win 7 crashed and blue screen came up and i had to restart the laptop by pressing the power button and the system worked fine but it gave me a mssg that the system recovered frm a bad crash. so beware, i do want to have a controller for manging my graphics option and i dont understand why there is no proper installer to get the ATI catalyst. more over the graphics card is not an integrated or low life so why doest AMD/ATI have proper driver that will get install and also gives us the interface to manage the graphics in the rightclick or when we go to the programfiles n try to run the application. why we need to mod it?

also when i disable UAC to install the manager thru mod tool when i was installing it give me an error that drivers might be old n download drivers frm either laptop manufacturer r graphics card manufacturer n the particular file might be harmful n contain virus r trojans blah blah

did anyone face the similar problem r its jst me. if not which driver did u install n can u give me the links for both the mod tool n the latest drivers that can be installed in win 7, im not askin for vista 64, its weird some of the vista 64 drivers r not getting installed in win 7
