Working on this trying to get sound out of it. The drivers are valid, the sound
is turned up and in Advanced it's set to laptop speakers, but still no sound.

Please enlighten, if one would be so kind.

    Thanks in advance

Just an update..Got the sound working. Had to unistall and update the
driver and reinstall. Go to go. Thanks for looking.

Another problem came up. I could not access the net with the wireless
card. I don't know how many times I uninstalled and installed the driver.
I checked Zero Config in CMD. I kept coming to this Intel page telling
me that the switch was off. I can't tell you how many times I hit FN -
F8 together to try and get this thing going. I looked at the manual and
guess I missed the PART ABOUT THE TINY WIFI SWT ON THE SIDE
    OF THE CASE !

I know I spent at least 4 hrs trying to get this wifi to work. I looked at
the case, but didn't see a switch or thought I didn't...

Came across a post at another forum with one of the members stating
that the swt has to be turned on and it's located on the side under lip
of the case. Looked again after hrs and sure enough, the swt was there
and it was in the off position. Turned it on, configured the network, and
    what do you know, There's Yahoo.com !

I feel like such a moron you would not believe..The old saying again
applies to me and that is.... KISS !

    Keep it simple, stupid. :confused2:
