I have in my Toshiba a ATI mobility radeon HD 3470 and I dont like the resolution, I find that in my Dell I have a better resolution in that one I have a ATI mobility radeon x1400 ( 1680 x 1050 ). Can I put this one in my Toshiba? Do I have to change something? Does the screen has to do something whit it?

I dont know a lot about these thing, any help would be great.

    Thanks

The problem here is not the graphics card, but rather the display resolution: your display physically cannot support a higher resolution, so you're out of luck.

Thank you for your answer. I have to say that I just got the computer and the mouse pad does not work well, the mouse works when it wants too but it often just stay there or does what it want, I have no virus, brand new computer, I called there technical help and they told me to send the computer back it a defect, I have to pay for the shipping and insurance, they will send me another one, you know there could be the same problem with the other one, I would rather they refund me, but they say they don't do that, they can give me another computer if I want and I pay the difference. Well I learn my lesson I won't buy online, I am surprise from Toshiba direct. If I had the chance I would buy another brand name or even get another Dell.
