This is the exact model I'm looking at actually. But how did you get $814? I'm looking at $849..
Also on the Staples site its listed as 2GB of ram while the Toshiba site lists it as 3GB. I'm assuming that Staples made a typo, but where did you get your info?

I got the specs off the Toshiba website.
    Typo on Staples site.
I got email with $20 off $150, and I found a coupon off RFD with $15 off.
Phoned up a few staples and ask the associate if they could ask thier manager if they could apply the coupons in store.

honestly, i'm not thrilled with the look of this laptop (glossy keys, look really plastic) from my short time with it in store but as the OP did, i found lots of staples coupons online to bring this baby down from $850 to $770 and for that price and the hardware you're getting in this, it was too hard to pass up. i'll let you guys know how it is once i receive it, and if i'm not satisfied with the build quality i'll probably return it.

Its a love/hate thing with all the glossyness.
    I think its awsome!
I have nothing wrong with it so far.
The left side of the keyboard/palm rest/mouse pad runs a little warm while gaming, that's all.
And the bilingual keyboard sucks ie. the enter button. but im used to it with my third toshiba.
Battery life is about 2hrs, maybe a little more while on balanced profile(1/2 brightness)

Also the first one i got was defective.
There was a buzzing from the lcd inverter and if i put pressure under the toshiba logo on the screen, it would go away also same if i open/close the lid.
On the same one, the heatsink was raised on one of the sides by 2mm.
And the left mouse button was raised about half a millimeter too.

The one i have now is almost perfect, only the heatsink is just raised on the right side by about 1mm.

Also I noticed that the harman/kardon speakers have this weird effect, i dunno how to explain it but when you play a song, the sound kind of goes in and out when you hear it. They are louder and more bass than the no name speakers that I had in my A200, but I can't say that they are just as clear.
