Does anyone has experience adding RAM to the M45, is it difficult? I pretty know my way on how to add RAM on desktops but this will be my first attempt on a laptop. Is this a task better left for the professional?

    Thanks

Typically there is a panel on the bottom you pop off and put the memory in. Depending on whether your model has one or two sticks in it presently there may already be a stick in there. If not you just slide the memory in. The memory is notched so it can only go one way. If there is one in there, take it out and put the new one in. In the past Toshiba has tended to leave one slot open, not sure if this is true on the new ones. I personally wouldn't pay someone to do it. If you are unsure look in the service manual, it should be covered in there somewhere. Good Luck.
