I have been setting up a Satellite A100 (PSAA9A series) for a friend. It had both XP restore disks and the free vista upgrade discs. As they didn't want all the Toshiba bloatware, I did a clean Vista install and put on the drivers, avoiding any that aren't a must have, but I seemed to have missed the application that controls screen brightness.

Does anybody know what the name of the program is? I don't want to have to use trial and error and end up with a whole lot of redundant registry entries.

    Thanks in advance.

Using Fn+... doesn't work? You may need to install the Toshiba value added package which includes button support.
