I absolutely love my X775-Q7384 Toshiba...only thing I would change is the screen. I have found a compatible screen at ScreenCountry (I've ordered several from them and have had no problems)...but wondering if anyone has a better option they've come across?
The colors on this Toshiba are OK...but viewing angles are definitely sub-par (IMHO).
Any and all leads appreciated. Thanks.

Here's an older thread of someone who successfully replaced their 900p screen with a 1080p: http://forum.notebookreview.com/hardware-components-aftermarket-upgrades/606833-screen-upgrade-success-qosmio-x775.html
Not sure which screen they used though.
Good luck -

Successfully upgraded to a 1600 by 900 matte screen. Considered full HD screen, but they were out of stock and decided that I prefer the higher frame rates with the lower res anyway. Definite improvement in viewing angles and colors. Will probably update my review page with another YouTube video for the sake of comparison.

Glad to hear!
Can I ask, which screen did you use? -

Sure...no problem! Here's the link:
Toshiba QOSMIO X775-Q7275 LAPTOP LCD SCREEN FROM $44. HP ACER TOSHIBA DELL APPLE COMPAQ. Notebook screen, laptop display, notebook lcd, laptop tft, screen DELL, ACER lcd, screens SONY, lcd DELL, ACER lcd.
Mine is a Q7384, but same screen basically, so no problem.
Turned out to be one of the easier screen installs I've done. Thanks! -
I dropped this laptop last summer and broke the screen, it cost me 700 dollars to have Toshiba replace it. Unbelievably I did a stupid thing and picked it up by the screen tonight and my finger cracked the screen again! I just can't afford to pay the cash to have them do it again. Anyway I ordered a replacement screen and found some tutorials looks easy enough but none specific for this computer. If you have any tips on the screen removal, (tough screw locations etc) I would be grateful beyond belief!

Here is the factory service manual for the Toshiba X770/X775. Both systems are the same.

I strongly suggest saving the manual to your computer.
