I want to get a 2nd used notebook for school and money is an issue so I need to find a slightly used but in fair condition. I would like to build on the 965 Santa Rosa chipset but core 2 duo 945 is OK too. I also need to stay w/ 15.4 or smaller for travel use. I have a used T7700 and pulled T9300 so I would like to make use of either but preffer the used Santa Rosa refresh.

Can I get a list of Toshiba models that match this profile?

No idea which Tosiba laptop will fit those used components but take a look at the Toshiba in my sig. I got it for $399 and it has 15.4 inch screen, dvd/cd burner, t3400 duo core 2.0Ghz, 2GB Sdram, SD Card reader, Vista Home Premium. I got it on special but the regular price is $500 to $600. Cheap as they come with decent specs and is not a netbook.

    Lappie,

I read a post you made in another thread about a CPU upgrade you completed on a Toshiba Laptop.

I am fixing to do one very similar and I would like to pick your brain.
I don't see a way to private message on this forum. Maybe it appears after a certain post count and I'm a Newbie.

Never-the-Less, would you care to share some knowledge with me?

    Thank You and Regards,

    FFL :)

Definitely go with Dell's older Inspiron models if you want to get something that is in the least decent and cheap. Dell has been making really good laptops for years. Check them out online.
