    Hi guys,
I know it's really odd to post here about an ancient Satellite S1800-100 incident, which is my 10 year-old baby. Until a few months, i didn't notice any time lag when compared to real-time current. However starting last month, whenever i power off (and remove power cord with no main notebook battery), the time stays behind in contrast to real-time. I suppose the RTC battery seems dead and though it's rechargable, it's not being recharged.

I found a brief disassemble guide here, see step 32:

How to take apart and repair Toshiba Satellite 1800 laptop. Fix it yourself instructions.

But, the model and the type of RTC battery is NOT known so i CAN'T know which brand-new RTC battery i should search and order.

Can someone help me to identify the RTC battery in S1800-100, maybe based on the guide hotlinked above?

    Thanks a lot!
