just wondering if any toshiba owners who registered for the vista upgrade......
have u gotten the upgrade via mail yet? anyone in the US or canada?

Moduslink handles the upgrades, they are very backlogged not very many people have recieved their upgrade packages yet. Last I heard they were saying they would be sent out in April.....

still waiting for mine. Moduslink are messing me around and claiming that the didn't receive my payment. I'm losing hope of ever receiving my upgrade..

Good luck with your order.I submitted mine on Feb2, I waited about a month then I inquired about my order. Moduslink informed me that my order was submitted to a trial site which they set-up and I would have to redo it. I did and now I got an email from them saying this one is no good either and if I would like to continue with the process. (Like they were saying forget it its not happening) Well i called Toshiba and a dumbass there told me theres nothing they could do.Well Im about to fight to the death because it was just to convienent for the promotion to be around christmas time when sales are slow and they were scared that people would wait for the Vista upgrade (a month after Christmas) to buy there product. It was a great selling tool. Kicking my ass now.

I got my Vista upgrade pack about 10 days ago posted from Moduslink Greenford Middlesex near London. My Credit Card was debited £16 (UKPounds)about 2 weeks before that.
The pack comprises of a CD (DVD?) and an A5 size installation guide booklet. I haven't opened the pack as I don't intend installing it for another 6 months at least. -
We've got the upgrade and it's running right now, but some how on our vista ready notebook it still needs more drivers? and now our dial-up doesn't work. But overall, I think it was worth it.

Uk and i got mine. it took so long i forgot about the damn thing then oneday i open the mail and was like oh the order did went thru lool.

I finally got mine after alot of Btchn to moduslink and toshiba.What i didnt appreciate is the fact that toshiba more or less told me to stick my problem where the sun dont shine. And that was a manager whom said that.They wouldnt do a darn thing to help me.Yes they were very sympathetic about my prob until the manager stepped in. I also complained about the lack of customer support you get from many companies these days. Seems like the world has gone to hell in a hand basket. So next time I might as well buy a Leap Pad. My kids seem to enjoy it...
