This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Any information on R500 Update/Refresh?

    Toshiba claimed to have had an SSD model ready by the end of July and also recently announced built in HSDPA. Does anybody know when these units are supposed to actually be available for purchase?

    Never mind...The R500 has been updated as of recently on Toshiba's site. Its a shame about the huge price jump just because of SSD. Oh well.
