Hello, I was looking at the Toshiba A85-S107 because of the price mainly. I would like to hook my laptop up to my Sony 32" TV, but 1024*768 (the laptop's max res) isn't going to cut it. Does anyone know if this is the output resolution also, or will it be higher? Thanks in advance.

It depends on what your TV supports as a max res. Most CRT's I've seen are approx at the 10x7 range. The notebook should be able to push an external res of approx 1600x1200 via the RGB port (external monitor). The SVideo may be able to do the same, but not 100% sure, but it really comes down to your TV.
