I'm looking at buying a TOSHIBA Satellite P750-04X, and was wondering if anyone who owns one would give me some advice.

    Have you had any problems?
What do you think of the quality?
What is the battery life like with just basic office/web surfing?

    Thanks.

I bought a Satellite P750 earlier this week, though it has a different letter ending. So far, it's decent for an under $1000 laptop. It runs quickly, detects wireless really well, and stays cool. The only thing I am getting used to and don't like as much are the keys which feel sticky if your hands are sweaty. My old laptop had the aluminum keys which looked cheap but never felt sticky. The touchpad click needs a bit of force and sound loud, and when your wrist is resting on the front edge, that part is glossy and can feel sticky if wrist is sweaty. I don't know why they didn't make it with the bamboo-texture of the rest of it.

I'm pretty confident I'll get used to those two things, so overall, I'm pretty happy with the purchase since I wanted an i7 quad-core.
