Honestly, I think there are better options for the price, but it is a nice machine and many people like the looks.

My dad bought one (I told him over and over again to get a Dell XPS M170, but he wouldn't listen), but he got $700 before tax through his friend, so I thought it was OK. It looks great, and has an Apple-like DVD Drive. It will also wipe any other notebook's a$$ when it comes to speakers, which are gigantic and make a 4W stero system, currently the best in the notebook industry. However, unless you can somehow find it with a discount, I reccomend the Dell XPS M170 as a great alternative.

the toshiba is nice but it would be perfect without the TV tuner, and i don't think anyone can touch fujitsu when it comes to the screen. not to mention Fujitsu has the option of dual hdd's. the 2ghz M would be nice but not much of a difference from 1.86

Toshiba pioneered the TruBrite Display along with Fujistu and other companies, so they're just as good, if not better. Plus the entire Qosmio line comes with the Qosmio engine, which is a similar chip placed in HDTVs to enchance the viewing capacity/experience. The Qosmio also sports dual 60GB HDs @ 5400RPM.

I just purchased one, and have been uding it for presentations at wedding. ( I'm a photographer) . The screen is about the best I have ever seen, and it is quick enough to edit RAW camera files on the spot. I would not hesitate buying one if you have a particular use thatt require amazing displays

oh i didn't know that the G25 supported dual HDs, but it just isn't customizable and too expensive i think for what you get,
-
Toshiba dropped its price of the G25 from $3000 to $2500. Some retailors like Circuit City are also putting on rebates, which brings the price down around $2200.

i just wouldn't want the tv tuner or media center edition of windows i think. i would never use a TV tuner

I have a G25, I just bought it and love it! I got it at circuit city.
Anyone have a Toshiba Qosmio G25-AV513?
