After extraction it didn't automatically install so I just went into the extracted setup files and manually installed it.

This is what I was looking for. This is exactly what happen to me.

How do I go into the extracted setup files and manually install it?

Please give me a detail explanation, I would really appreciate it, as I don't want to mess it up.

After downloading, double click file and it should show you where the files will be extracted to, if I remember correctly. I'm at work so I can't check right now....locate that folder, open it, look for a file called "setup". Click that, hopefully that works.

Before doing it manually. You got to the point that said "Start" to start extracting and then it did that and then it stated something about downloading to hard drive (not home either, also at work so not sure of the exact wordings) and it went through that process and then disappeared with no more prompts and no update? Like nothing ever occured.

When you get home could you pretty please relook at how you did it in detail and reply on here on how you did do it. I tried again last night and I could not figure out how to do it manually :(

When you start extracting it should give a location where the files are being extracted to, look for it, it might take some digging but when you locate it, look for file named setup with an installshield wizard icon.

Thanks buddy. I finally had a chance to look deeply into my system to find out where the download went to (it was not too easy, but i did find it) and I was able to manually update the Nvidia driver :)

    wa2c80:

After you downoaded Nvidia version 259.37 from the Toshiba website, did you notice when you watch something on YouTube or Hulu and expand it to full view that the bottom of the screen on YouTube flickers badly and on Hulu when fully expanded the "Hulu" name on the bottom left hand corner flickers?

If you havent noticed can you check that for me? Because it did that to me and when I switched it back to Version 258.96 from the Nvidia website that problem went away.

    I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks

Yeah, I went back to the Version 258 because of the flickering. I am not quite sure what the version 259 added anyways.
