This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I want boot linux from a flash drive on a Toshiba P15. It can boot from usb cdrom, but can't seem to get it to boot other external devices.

    If you can boot to a USB device, you should be able to boot to a USB stick without issue. Did you make sure you have all the right files on your USB stick when you attempted to boot to it?
