Are these all the drivers to put XP on the SLi1?

this is MY compilation of drivers.

If you want to dual boot, you really need to install XP first, then install Vista from a Microsoft disc (not the Toshiba disc).

Any other drivers that isn't in my file above, can be gotten from your Toshiba disc (ie the Vista ddrivers work fine)

Several issues....streamline SATA drivers into XP...install KB888111 hotfix to enable HD Audio bus (sound card and modem).....the function keys don't work in XP (for adjusting brightness etc), but they didn't work in vista reliably either-you can adjust brightness in the Nvidiia control panel

As I said elsewhere, I understood most of that.

What do you mean by streamline? [I know what a hotfix is]

I know SATA is for the HDD, is it for other components too? I'm not familiar with what needs drivers [or specific drivers] to run or if some drivers take care of more than one piece of hardware. I understand about the GPU drivers of course and the Audio, but what about the intergrated graphics and the monitor? If the Monitor needs a driver, how do get it in? [How do you see what you're doing to get it in?] What about the ports, do they have specific drivers or are those part of the SATA drivers you are referring to?

MY PROBLEM IS ONE OF LOGISTICS AS MUCH AS ANYTHING ELSE*: I don't know what to do step by step in general since I've never installed an OS before and if there is any SLi1 specific steps, I don't know where they go either.

[*I also tend to overthink a problem, in case you didn't notice]

I really don't give two bits about Vista. If I have XP, Vista would just be taking HDD space. But I've heard in some forums about having a problem installing XP when just replacing Vista outright. I didn't understand their problems or why they were occuring, only that they were encountering them.

From what I gather, which isn't much... I want to run the XP disc [can I just put it in and let it run it's course?] then the drivers [SATA first, or is it that just all the drivers for it are SATA?], then the hotfix. That sounds easy enough until I start thinking of the details.

Edit: Also, since I don't have a 2nd computer it would be hard to come here for advice except for like between 12am and 5am and few are here then.
