Hi.
I'm thinking to buy TOSHIBA Satellite A305-S6864 NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo P8400(2.26GHz) 15.4" Wide XGA 4GB Memory DDR2 800 320GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 Lappy and saw review about
Atheros 802.11b/g/n wireless-LAN problem.
"Cons: Atheros wireless is problematic. Turning on the switch before or after boot up and it shows as disabled. Reboot usually resolves this but it's a PITA. It also would not start from sleep without a reboot. Fixed that by setting OS to keep WLAN live when sleeping. "
Do you think is better avoid Atheros and find INTEL based one or it was just configuration problem and TOSHIBA Lappys are just fine ?

I have a Toshiba M45 with an Atheros b/g wireless card and it's never failed to connect or had any other problems with it.
I've had several Toshiba laptops over the years and they tend to use reliable hardware. The Toshiba ConfigFree utility (included on all models) makes the whole process very seamless, whether using an Intel or Atheros adapter.

Thanks a lot my frend and also for discount also.
I guess it won't work at NEWEGG which don't charges TAXES unlike TOSHIBA
direct.
Do you think TOSHIBA Satellite A305 is better value than ASUS ?
