    BIOS upgrade - 64-bit or 32-bit?

    My A205-S5825 has separate BIOS upgrades for Windows Vista 32 and Vista 64. Why? None of my desktop motherboards are like this.

    if you use vista 32 bit u must use 32bit update or 64 if you have 64bit vista, othervise it won't work proberly...

    Isn't that what I said? ;)

    I'm trying to find out why the different BIOSes are necessary for this Toshiba when other brands of notebooks have a single BIOS that successfully handles both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Vista.

    Don't think it differance... Maybe 32bit does not handle 64 systems well...
