Toshiba Satellite P505-S8945 running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 upgrade from Vista Home Premium SP 2 x64

Just prior to the BSOD was having problems with my Option Icon 452 modem randomly resetting itself while plugged into the USB port. Was also having problems with laptop being unable to communicate with my Lexmark Z1300 printer despite proper drivers being installed and bidirectional communication being enabled.

This leads me to wonder if my USB ports or perhaps the drivers of the ports are not defective, but I've no idea how to check.

Below is the text of the BSOD:

    Thanks for any help!

A Google search of 0xFFFFF88004 5030B8 yielded no results.

    What antivirus are you running?

Also, download and run Memtest86, I think IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL can refer to bad RAM.

Well it should bother you. Blue screens are only caused by something that can damage the OS. That's what a bluescreen is, it's Windows preventing itself from getting critically damaged.

    Did you run memtest86?
